Watch the work

Every ‘shall’ mapped. Every word earning its place.

This is what your proposal looks like while we build it. The solicitation is shredded into a requirements matrix before writing begins, volumes are drafted by senior U.S.-based writers, and every response is reviewed before an evaluator ever scores it.

Compliance first — requirements mapped before writing begins
Real discriminators an evaluator can score high, not filler
Reviewed, formatted, notarized, and submitted early — never late
You approve. We do the rest.

One opportunity in. One winning submission out.

You don't touch the solicitation, the forms, the portal, or the mailroom. Six stages — each hands the next exactly what it needs, even on a tight deadline.

Most firms hand you a draft. We finish the job.

The paperwork, the portal, the notary, the mailroom — that's where bids are actually won or lost. It's exactly the part we own.

  • Rotating freelance bench; a new stranger every engagement
  • Often offshore or outsourced, hard to reach on deadline day
  • You still have to find a notary and beat the clock yourself
  • Charged per bid, with surprise sticker shock each time

Plain English

Federal proposal writing, decoded.

Turning a solicitation, NOFO, or task order into a reviewer-ready response that scores well, reads clearly, and complies cleanly — before a deadline that doesn't move.

What it is

Federal proposal writing is the structured process of responding to government solicitations — RFPs, RFQs, IDIQ task orders — and grant notices (NOFOs). It's not "writing about your company." It's writing what gets scored by people who follow a published rubric.

Why it exists

Federal awards require consistent evaluation across competitors. Every response must match Section L instructions, address every Section M factor, and package to a specific format. Non-compliance is pass/fail — capability doesn't matter if you're eliminated at the compliance check.

RFP Contract

RFP / RFQ · Contract Proposal

NOFO Grant

NOFO · Grant Application

Funding notice from federal, state, or foundation funders. Narrative-driven: need statement , outcomes , program design , and budget narrative tied to funder priorities.

IDIQ Task

Quick-turn responses against an existing vehicle. Tight timelines, focused scope, reuse of approved past performance — still graded on technical merit and pricing.

FAQ

Questions companies ask before sending the solicitation.

Do you really handle everything — forms, notary, and mailing? +
Yes. We read the solicitation, complete the required documents (reps & certs, SF forms, attachments, SAM items), write the proposal, build the pricing, and — because every team member is a commissioned remote online notary — notarize anything that requires it in-house. Then we submit: uploading to the portal or, when a hard copy is required, printing, packaging, and mailing it with tracking and confirmation. You approve; we execute each step.
What's the difference between proposal writing and grant writing? +
Proposal writing responds to federal contract solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, task orders) governed by FAR-driven Sections L and M, scored on technical merit, management approach, past performance, and price. Grant writing responds to NOFOs, focused on need statements, program design, outcomes, budget narrative, and funder priorities. Different structures, same discipline: read the rules, follow the rules, write to the rubric.
Do you write our entire proposal, or just parts? +
Both, depending on scope. We can run the full pursuit from capture through submission, or pick up specific volumes (technical narrative, past performance, pricing volume, compliance matrix, color-team reviews). For grants, we can write the narrative end-to-end or support specific sections.
Retainer vs. an annual plan — which do we need? +
If you're running 4, 5, 6 or more pursuits at the same time and need a standing capture-and-writing function with a named lead and SLA turnaround, the retainer is built for that scale. Running one to three at a time, an Annual Plan delivers the same end-to-end process at a fraction of the cost. Most companies start on an annual plan and step up when volume demands it.
How do you guarantee Section L compliance? +
We build a compliance matrix as the first deliverable on every pursuit. Each Section L instruction and Section M factor is mapped to a response location, owner, and evidence requirement, then reviewed before drafting, after first draft, after Red Team, and once more before submission. Non-compliance is pass/fail, so we treat it that way.
How fast can you turn a proposal around? +
Depends on the pursuit. A 7-day IDIQ task order with strong reusable past performance can move fast. A 50+ page RFP with full technical, management, and pricing volumes needs 2–3 weeks at minimum — ideally 4–6 weeks for proper Pink/Red/Gold reviews. We're honest about what's possible before you commit.
Ready when you are

Let's win the next one.

Bring the pursuit or grant notice, the deadline, and your current materials. We'll read it, tell you the honest path and the risk, then handle the documents, writing, pricing, notarization, and submission by portal or mail.
